I was just surprised at the sudden drop I got after "Connor" was accused of being me. It had nothing to do with me, but people assumed so there you go.

When someone claiming to not know who you are posts from your IP address, it tends to raise a few red flags.

I just said it raised red flags and implied (in response to your admission of being surprised at the votes) that people might have voted based on an assumption that you were doing something shady. Connor's claim that he didn't know you was the cause for alarm, because it wasn't true.

The issue *is* done, and there is no foul play. At the same time, however, I can't see why you'd be surprised at the votes you might have received as an immediate response, given your exposure to the same crowd of people from last year.

As an aside, anime does suck.

What I don't get is how someone goes that far out of the way to say a girl is pretty. Yeah some people will do anything but I mean kinda weird to do it that way. Specially when it's not a random girl at a coffee shop or something.

Bottom line: Think a girl is pretty just tell her.

I think you might be jumping to conclusions here. I noticed your costumes had dropped out of the top 10 well before I made my comment. In fact, they started to drop as soon as Conner started posting. If anything, you can thank him for that. He was bragging about how he gave Cosmos a 1 rating. I'm sure he thought he was helping you out somehow, but in the long run it's probably not helping much. Then again, we don't know for sure, they might have dropped down regardless of Conner's involvement. I don't think we need to be making assumptions.

@Matt - I honestly didn't expect to place in this contest, I just like sharing my costumes/looking at other costumes. It wasn't really about placing, it was about my reputation and people judging me before I had a chance to defend myself.

On a side note. I personally love your costumes, for time/effort and look "alikeness" they should be towards the top. But once again this is a popularity contest. I see people on facebook saying "Goto this site, make an account, vote for this costume as 10 and the rest as one"

So don't get down that you are not up there. I expected to be towards the bottom with my entires. And I am. But who cares.

I guess that is my plan next year......a better costume, some heavy lobbying on all social networking sites, and possibly "contributions" to my voters favorite charities.

Yeah, I asked my friends to vote but telling them to vote people down is dumb. I didn't even tell them what to vote, I just said vote for me if you care.


I want to take this time to thank the sponsors who made these awesome prizes possible.

I've been playing airsoft since 2001, and I've never seen this many prizes up for grabs. First, Second, and third place are all very generous and can be used by anyone with an AEG.


I also want to wish everyone luck, there is a lot of awesome costumes and limited drama this year.
