As far as being 'cheap pieces of junk' I'll relate my history in Airsoft repair -
I have turned out so many CA, TM, and ICS pieces of shit for repair its ridiculous. I've fixed ground gears, cracked or blown gearboxes, stripped screws, and random parts that have just 'fallen off' to the point of wondering why the hell the places still remain in business.
I've worked on 3 clones, and that was only to downgrade 2 of them because they came in shooting too hot to use on the field and one to change a blown piston.
I've owned several clones in my heyday, and during that time I've mixed and matched parts while *trying* to kill one or two just to see how far they can go.
Mixing random gearsets, shim depths, tossing 3 gearboxes worth of parts together in a bag and just plucking things out to put them together...I've yet to have a clone give up the ghost on me.
Yes, I've had wear related failures, like old pistons but nothing catastrophic to warrant a complete gun failure like seeing the front of a gearbox completely blown off of an ICS AK..or dumping powder and shavings out of the cylinder of a stock CA M4..(I still dont know how the hell that crap got in there.)

I tout the clones because their failure rate is so low compared to the 'high dollar' guns. Thats all there is to it.
Cost and Affordability are 2 of the things that are going to allow this game/sport to grow - otherwise you're going to cut out all of the future players that allow it to prosper and where will that leave you? Right back when it was beginning to hit the PacNW and there were only 20 guys rolling onto the field, because those are the 20 that can throw down the cash to sling some plastic.
My 2 cents.

I'm not worried about the news. I have different stock of AEGs that will suite my needs till I die... I don't need to buy any new one. Parts are easy to find and I have enough supply as well. Taiwan manufacturers are still in business.

Stinks like elitist faggots in here.

Worst gun I owned was a CA, best were my cyma and galaxy. From what I've seen the chinaman clones have failure rates not much higher than the so called high end guns. So I can buy 2 or 3 of a chinaman gun that will function just about as well or better. And if it breaks, I still have enough money left over to upgrade the crap out of it or just buy another one. Saving doesn't mean crap if you don't know how often you can play due to having a life outside airsoft. Why spend three times the amount on a gun that I might get to use once a month?

Stupid kids will do stupid things with or without cheap airsoft.

If Chinese guns didn't suck so bad, you guys wouldn't have to work so hard to defend them. ;)

If expensive guns were so good I wouldn't have to repair so many of them. ;)

hm... looks like clear plastic shotguns in the back, weird over sized pistols to the right, but what rifle is that he is holding. looks almost like a T65k2 but those have solid stocks. my guess is that these are nothing but a bunch of cheap no name springers. lol

That looks like a full size 556 with a scope and bi-pod.

And you realize what they have layed out is only a tiny fraction of the acclaimed 113,000 replicas seized.

It's the Chinese gov't. That is probably 50% of the seizure in the picture.

Chinese government is like US government: all lies.

Would you please stop with this bleeding "+1" bullshit? You've used that ten times in the last fifteen days, which is blatant postwhoring. If you aren't contributing anything to the discussion, then don't post anything at all.

There's a time and place for it. Notice that I don't do it every other thread.

I am the ultimate postwhore. Take your faggoty "+1" text and stuff it up your a$$. We have to make room for this:
