If you answer, "I skip right to the forums," please provide some feedback on how the landing page of AP might be more helpful to you. What changes would you make?

I usually glance at the topics there and then click on the "new posts" link below my log in info.
I think the front page needs more boobs.

I skip to the forums, mostly because what changes on the front page isn't updated very often in comparison to the amount of time I spend on AP. I'm probably not a very good point of data on this.

I'd like to see Rate my AEG go away in favor of a random feed of larger images from that gallery. Perhaps the rating system might affect the chance that an AEG would be "featured" as the AEG of the Day, but not so much that the highest rated images are all you see, and not so much that the lowest rated images are never seen. I'd like to see images from the loadout gallery done in the same way.

My time on the front page is limited to as long as it takes for me to click "view posts since last visit." Occasionally, I will use it to check any upcoming events on the calendar very quickly, but aside from that most of my AP time is spent on the forums.

Sometimes I don't even go to the home page. I use the URL for search for new posts. That takes you right to the sign in page for the posts since last visit.

I scan the homepage for a few seconds. Just to see if there is anything really cool worth going to. If not I log in my inbox link.

I use the homepage and look at the recent posts list in the middle. The little list of upcoming events is nice also; that way I don't have to go to the calender to check every time. I think the homepage is good. I do, however, like Nocte's idea for shunting "Rate my AEG" and replacing it with something else.

Agreed, especially since it has been that same goddamn sniper rifle for a week now. It'd be nice to see some other people's gear. Maybe a constant rotation of every image in the RMAEG section that updates every day or whatever?
