This is meant to be a fun way to look back on 2009, not a thread about who's better than everybody else. Keep in mind, it's cool that we can vote on these things but don't let it go to your heads
Best Player 2009: Darius137 aka Dan. Dan put a lot of work and effort into the PDX CAGE field and also worked to put on a lot of cool training events for all of us to enjoy this past year.
Most Improved Player 2009: Juicemachine!
Best Team 2009: SOTA. Very well deserved. The SOTA players have a really great attitude on and off the field.
Best OP or Event 2009: CQC7. Thanks everybody! We really put a lot of time into writing CQC7's scenarios, planning and building props and putting on a game you could all enjoy. We definitely had fun putting on this event and we look forward to CQC8.
Best Playfield 2009: Titan 1 Tactical, T1T. I actually haven't been able to check it out, I'll have to remedy that soon!
Biggest Gearwhore 2009: Jewish Ninja, followed very closely by Ash. Jewish Ninja won by just 1 vote.
Biggest Postwhore 2009: Bad Karma. Followed closely by Dan and Dmitri. It was almost a 3 way tie.
Best Photograph: A lot of votes in this category, all for different photos, but it seems like this one barely squeaked by:

THE CATEGORIES ARE
Best Player: Someone who defines sportsmanship, professionalism, and an overall great attitude on the field. Might be someone who's given a lot of time and effort help other players. This is NOT about skill alone.
Most Improved Player: Somebody who has become a skilled force to be reckoned with on the field. May have been new this year but they've turned into a high-speed low-drag bad a$$ plastic death dealing machine.
Best Team: Which team not only kicked a$$ in 2009, but also set an example of amazing sportsmanship and honor that we should all follow.
Best OP or Event: Your favorite event of 2009. Please keep the selection to localized events.
Best Playfield: Your favorite field in 2009 (this can be a field we used before 2009)
Biggest Gearwhore: Who's got it all AND MORE!
Biggest Postwhore: On the forums ALL the time, always posting, posting, posting, posting...
Best Photograph: Coolest Airsoft photo taken in 2009, post as a link or as an image. Please cite a specific photo.
Best Post: NEW CATEGORY. This might be the coolest, the most ridiculous or even the funniest thing you read on AP this year. Post a link.
