It happens. Usually though people don't replace what they were originally going to buy with something completely different.

The Camo was kind of ugly and a bit too big.

I often do that. I walk into my local surplus shop in Seattle for a pair of gloves, walk out with an entire set of camo.

Do it frequently. Usually its an extra this or one of those and not an instead of for me.

I'm really bad about it when I buy gear. I go for one M4 mag pouch and end up with a sling, 203 grenade pouch, leg panel and that pouch. Drives my wife nuts when I do it, too.

Yes, I call her the debit card of doom. 4 AR's going on 3 SCAR's, but I think I've found my limit... only cause I'm saving up for a GI .50 :D

I hate it. I get on compulsive buying stuff. I went in to buy some ESS or Wiley-X shooting glasses, and walked out with a training knife, glasses worth double my budget, and a flashlight.

It's kinda funny. When we are young and need not pay bills, we don't have access to money. When we are old enough to get a full time job, all the money goes to bills.

I bought a set of midcaps and a KV stock when I walked in to get a set of rails for my G36... My dad was like, "WTF? I thought you were just buying something small." Hehe...

I probably would end up doing it more often if I still had my old job... (Fking economy)...
