Which kickass events are we discussing here? I remember a pretty cool one that I got murdered at, and some solid outdoor games but, without a CQB facility, outdoor games are already locked down by other competent event hosts. We have them literally every weekend.

Plus, those guys do a lot more real steel these days than anything and they're generally inactive on the boards.

Wow.

Anyway...BSP doesn't hold the rights to www.blacksierra.net anymore. That is owned by JermG (because he is the proprietor of Black Sierra Group a private security company)

As far as airsoft goes, AP is the king of the hill period. It always has been, that's what Matt and I envisioned 10 years ago...so, why would anything change? Wes was talking on his own behalf...I don't measure the quality of AP.com versus an event host (BSP). It's a totally different deal. AP is a community hub, BSP is an event host. AP puts together events, BSP puts together events. No better...no worse...just events. So..no drama there.

As far as events go, we've attained a location that will be perfect for a BSP Challenge. (indoor and outdoor...private land....camping available....the whole deal) We are looking at Spring 2012. That will give me plenty of time to actually get to play...and get to know everyone in the community again by playing...rather than admining.

So relax on the hate. I've got nothing but good things to say about AP, Matt, and APST.

Junto...you are right...I and the guys have spent a great deal of time doing live weapons stuff, but that doesn't mean I haven't missed airsoft and the community. I'm playing on the 5th...and maybe sooner. So...game on!

You keep saying the challenge is gonna happen, make it so! I hope it's true, I wanna play this time. I just hope you turn down the LARP dial a little bit and crank up the action. If I want to act I'll go hang out with my film geek nerds - when I want to shoot fools I hang out with my airsoft nerds.

Nasty there is no reason to die inside....I don't consider the LARP thing we did at Scappoose as an event...that was just a good time. We can easily do that again out there. (fo' free of course)

I'm waiting on final approval for the location for the Challenge. It's a 90%'er right now. We indeed are going for a more action approach with our current template...and of course several other activities within the scenarios to make it not just about the shooting.

So, this looks good so far.

And when is CQC8? :P I too want to play!

BSP Challenge or CQC 8 would get me to dust my kit off.
