Modern Day Reenactment: 3rd ID

Postby Cpl_Cole » Fri Apr 27, 2007 4:11 pm

Well, one of the things people always say about Germans is that they perfectionists. My team in Germany is reenacting modern day 3rd Infantry Division, which looks about like this:

That is impressive. Very, very impressive. Could put that next to some pictures of the 3ID I have in a magazine and never know the difference.

And that is hardcore, gotta love the blood and medic complete with IV. We need to do that in the US somewhere. Go REALLY hardcore. Get some of those guys who do makeup for the military training exercises and go.

Excellent pictures. Did you read the article about "Crazy Jay" who was a cav scout for the 3rd ID?

yea, it was the corps in the pic, not the reg. army.

i think its funny how people all over the world spend so much effort in getting our gear and reinacting our countries troops, instead of their own countries. i guess immatation is the highest form of flattery...so yea.

and when your branches are filled with the scariest troops on the planet earth, i guess there is noone left worth reinacting.

nice pics. field surgery pics were pretty cool, as were the taking cover from shelling.
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.
