Thanks to everyone that came out.

You also helped us raise $260 to put towards building material for the field.
Soon we plan on having a build day to build sandbag bunkers and hopefully a couple of structures.

I would like to reiterate the safety kill rules. Shooting someone at point blank is VERY bad. You know who you are. If you have the drop on someone and they are too close to shoot (under 5 feet is way to close) you must yell [color=red]“SAFETY KILL !!!â€

As was I. Optional for both parties. It's you option to call one, and it's your targets option to honor it, or turn and try to gun his/her way out of it.

Personally, I don't like to lick nuts, and I don't cry if I bleed, so just pull the fahking trigger and get it over with...or I will.

In my opinion the reason it should be optional is because people exploit the "clean shot" concept. If I am behind a tree and they can't see me but they call it, I should honor it, eh? What if I am poking only my rifle and head around the tree, is it still a given? I'd always call it if they got the drop on me while I was in the open, but I've seen too many people use it when they get freaked out about my advance (while under good cover).

Then there's the whole indoor question but with no SZ not a biggie I guess.

Don't sweat it Wyatt. I saw you make the shot. I watched the BB that hit me. You were firing in the low ready, and your eyes were as big as saucers. You did not intend to shoot me in the face, so no appologies necessary bud. Nice fuckin' shot.

in this case shooting some one in the face from under 5 feet is NOT AN OPTION !!

use your fvcking brain people.

The reason safety kill is a rule is for safety reasons. If you cant use your judgment(or don't have any) then please don't play airsoft.

From 5 feet away, shooting someone in the face is poor judgment. At that distance, (and I'll make up a statistic here) 90% of the time you have the option to shoot them pretty much anywhere else. At 6-10 feet away I can shoot a spider off Junto's back (it happened), if someone's claiming bad aim at that distance, I'll agree that they need to not play airsoft. I agree that a safety kill is preferable to the receiving party rather than getting blasted in the face from that close a distance.

I don't think this constitutes a mandatory safety kill rule from 25 feet at all times, though. I think it means use your goddamn head and have a little bit of aim. If you can get 5 feet away from your opponent, it means you have had plenty of time up until that point to decide where to place your shot and aim for it.

I will admit it. Sunday, I did shoot someone within ten feet. It was kind of hard to safety kill both that person and their team mate (who was 25-30 ft away) with out one of them shooting me. I think I shot him on his vest or pack but I felt horrible for doing it as I forgot to remember the safety kill rule. And I made sure that there was no hard feelings afterwards.

Ok, there let all of AP know that I try to be an honest person.
