Excuse the length in response. I have read the post's that some of you have concerns on the FPS increase. We did not increase the FPS on a whim it had to be approved by the insurance company sense the majority of the game will take place out side a confined space and had to send pictures the the agent of game area. We have rule for the house that we were going to give out at the game sense there have been concerns regarding the house.

Rules to the house
Semiautomatic only in the house this will keep down he multiple hits on one person.
The house is an objective no a main stay there will be an admin in the house during the game.

With letting you know how we came to our decision on the FPS increase
We have decided that we do not want to keep anyone from coming and having a good time for only an additional 75FPS and feel that it might be unsafe. Everyone was expecting a 325FPS game anyway so we will keep it a 325 FPS limit game.

Those who have pre-paid and are not attending send me an email and a refund will be sent through paypal, If you have pre-paid and you are attending send me an email and I will give you a cash refund at the game or through paypal you choose.

Some of you have asked what about smoke and grenades no smoke, dummy grenades yes.

So if I understand you correctly, we are back to the 325 limit even outside?

Seriously? If people can't stand the heat they need to stay out of the kitchen. Crack House was one of my all time favorite fields, 400 fps in a game where CQC will play a small part seems reasonable to me. I don't see how this is any different the Splat Action where the limit was 400 fps, provided the buildings are a bit larger. From the pictures I've seen the field is mostly outdoor, so why not just run it like an outdoor game? And to quote you:

"Rules to the house
Semiautomatic only in the house this will keep down he multiple hits on one person.
The house is an objective no a main stay there will be an admin in the house during the game. "

So if we keep to semi auto in the house and an admins present, I don't really see how anything could go wrong ie: blindfiring into sombodies face point blank. If people are concerned for their faces (really the only cause for concern) they should wear additional face protection. And if the house isn't even a main stay , where's the problem with FPS at all?. I understand FPS limits and why they exist, but I feel this field simply doesn't justify a 325 FPS limit. I'n my 6 years of airsofting, I have seen 1 tooth get chipped, and heard about one persons eye protection failing (somebody at Mad Dog). All of these incidents occured playing outdoors. Sometimes getting shot hurts a little bit, sometimes you bleed a little bit. But I'd perfer to use an upgraded gun and potentially take a slightly more painful shot from somebody else. Look at the pictures of the field people, this isn't a strictly CQC game by a long shot.

wiley , shut your pie hole! that type of attitude better be belayed real quick. there was another team that was new to the community at one point in time that came with the same attitude. they got sick of not being welcome to games and not being able to be a part of this community. we have saftey rules set for a goddamn good reason. you think your more hardcore then me wiley....i think not stinker. so you wanna go down that road, its fine by me.

i know for a fact that if some newb like junto blind fired your a$$ @ 400 fps in the face, you will drop your " i am hardcore" attitude ands start whineing like a phony pony and dropping your gear, threating to beat some one down.....what if its me holding the weapon??? i am going to tell you to HTFU Mr. hardcore twat, then what happens?

slow your roll, and get with the bleeding program, or pull your squad.

So, as previously asked, is the FPS limit increased or not? As well as that, are the numbers of attendees still over the limit, as my weekend cleared up and would like to attend, possibly with one or two others in tow.

As for the questionable FPS inside the buildings, perhaps weapons under 325 could have a marking that is checked by the already on-site admin before a primary is allowed for use inside? I'm not sure the level of activity in the indoor environment, so I'm not sure if this is a unrealistic plan or not.

If I were to attend, I would prefer 400 fps for the selfish reason that I don't have the money for a dedicated CQC primary.

in my two years of airsofting i have seen 2 tooth injuries. tool diegal got his tooth shot out @ strikezone while under CQC velocity limits, then another at solomans pass.

i have seen three serious eye injuries( meaning that these injuries were soooo close to taking out someones eyesight FOR LIFE as in BLINDNESS is that hard bleeding core enuff for you jack a$$???). one happened at the tactical training 1 during the mout course to my breach man " the duke".

so in other words, your opinion of the saftey ruleset means jack shit pal.

"there was another team that was new to the community at one point in time that came with the same attitude."

New to the community? I've been playing Airsoft with APST for 6 years. I remember your first game Morgan. What attitude? I'm simply stating my opinion.

I'm not posting this to start a flame war, simply to state how I feel about the flip flop of the fps limits, and certainly not to get threatened by sombody who thinks he can bully me in an online forum.

"you think your more hardcore then me wiley....i think not f***er."

What are you talking about? When have we done more then casually speak at airsoft games? Do you even really know me well enough to be casually calling me Mr. Hardcore Twat?

"is that hard f***ing core enuff for you jack a$$???"

Chill out dude. Seriously, I can't believe I just got attacked on the AP forums for stating my point of view on an issue.

6 years huh? well, when some old dinosaur named alex-kaeda cant even give me a name for you or know your face when i talk about you, leads me to belive you are not as active in this community as you think.....half your squad does not have a call sign, i have had to reprimand you or one of your teammates on sportsmanship/saftey issues numerous times ( twice at vernonia are at the top of the list). your team has no accountability on the field unless someone such as myself steps up to the issue at hand.

so now, since you are a 6 year vetrean of this community, tell me...impart to me how you are setting a good example by telling grown men " if you cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen". you tell me, how that attitude is going to garner you any respect whatsoever.

i have been here for two years, and in my short time i have earned a reputation for being a honest, fair play, good sportsmanship, follow the rules type of guy who is liable to fly off the bleeding handle " rocco from boondock saints" styles on your a$$ for hitting the submitt button. but people know me..... i got peeps that i dont even know comming up to me " what up dude!" or " hey KA-BAR, good to see you"

looks like 2>6 in this case huh?

and if you can name my first game and what camo i wore and what brand guns i had, i just might slow my roll on you.

First off, my apologies, It's really more like 5 years I've been a member of the community, I remeber not being able to go to OP Blue Steel because I was still 15, but my teammates Ross, Kyle and Annie Attended.

You claimed one of my guys didn't call a hit when you shot him the first time we played togather at Verionia, I reprimanded him and we came down off the hill like you asked us to. If their was some problem at the second game (11/4) I was un aware of it. You have never repremended me, or the only other vet on my squad Jak. No accountability? Are you kidding? You claimed you killed my guy ealier in the game and didn't want us all the way at the top of the hill because we were to close to the spawn, so we returned to our respawn. My teamates understand that if they see sombody on our team get hit, they need to let that person know their dead. We play this game for the realism, not to be invicible super heros.

If you want to talk to somebody who knows me, talk to Braddock, Dantes, Catch, Childs, Seagreen, or Rick Raddue who I even used to play Rifts with when I was like 16 (Yay for RPG's). I remember Childs upgrading a teamates (Jeter's) P-90 to 400 fps and us putting it back togather with him without really having a clue what we were doing.

My Original team was TFTK, we played our first games in late 02 and early 03 with Childs, Ben T., and Raddue.

I was at OP trifecta with my team mate Jak, you can't even find pictures of it on the website anymore. I was an active poster on the forums before it was revamped, but lost the desire to communicate on the forums because it leads to the usual verbal assulting. I also attended trifecta 2 with Jak. I was Jaks spotter in the AP sniper scout course In O4, in that picture I'm on the far left.

Snow Game Third from left (red shirt) Taken in 03?

http://media.airsoftpacific.com/main.php?g2_itemId=4846

Old Vernonia Field, in flectarn. Alex was at that game, I remember him yelling alot. Taken in 03.

http://media.airsoftpacific.com/main.php?g2_itemId=5679

Who cares if my squad doesn't have a call sign? Jak and I are the only 2 involved with the forums, really just me for that matter, so why do they need accounts, their there to play, thats it. You can call my guys by their real names if you need to speak to them.

Your first game was at Scappose, I think in december of 05 unless I'm mistaken. I remember the 'stash.

Once again I'm not trying to start a flame war, or be a tool, or piss people off. Just wanted to get my opinion out there, got attacked for it, and am defending myself, my team, and my reputation.

I'm not taking sides on this issue, as it is none of my business, but, Wiley, I suggest you quickly glance over this thread as it will make you sound significantly more intelligent (or less retarded, your choice).
