so even outside on the 10 acre playing field we have to keep our weapons under 330 fps? just checkin' to make sure because i figured that being outside we could raise it up higher than that. just double checking because my main weapon is a UTG mk96

The rule is set because the owner/organizer felt it prudent. I don't understand why rules need to be broken down into second grade comprehension for you people.

Okay i understand the question may seem a little annoying but it is self assuring to me so i don't go up there and put my mk96 on the chrono stand and make myself look like a fool. so im sorry this may be a repeat post or something but i need to be positive about this and now i am so thank you for answering my question

Quit fuckin' figuring.

The ruleset is plain and simple. It is 330 FPS.

PERIOD.

These rules are not debatable, it is not a goddamn democracy, they are bleeding rules for everyone to follow.

EVERYONE, including the almighty Shadowfox.

330 FPS, got it?

Is it clear?

There WILL be a quiz.

fun time, good venue with alot of potential. it sucked that the game was limited to 330fps at the last second because cqb was few and far between. engagements were outdoors for the most part and shooting 300fps with a wild spread pattern after 25-30 yards made marksmanship frustrating.

i would be willing to pay more than the $15 cover to play a capped game of 20 v 20 in the "village" area, with a higher fps. games would be much more intense and engagements would be less prone to stalemate.

it was fun and look forward to playing there more in the future.

Mad props going out to Steve Terror Management, and Scott from Wild BOar Armory for putting this game on. It was a BLAST!

Great sportsmanship all around. Good crowd of people (Except for the lowlife meanie that walked off with KK's Mac 11).

I met a lot of new friends yesterday. It was nice to meet all of you, and I look forward to seeing you all again.

Ben, always a pleasure to slug it out with you and your boys. My head/face bear the evidence of the pink mist...

Shadowfox: You guys are money. A great time. Your team is run well, and I am giving credit where it is due. I would be happy to share the field with you anytime.

Dirty, I had a good time running with you, and would like to do it again sometime. You're a good kid and I was wrong to be so hard on you. + 10 respects.

See ya'll again soon.

Postby KA-BAR » Mon Nov 19, 2007 9:36 am

yo KA-BAR in the house!

the wildboar armoury game was pretty good. it was no CQB event, infact there was no CQB AT ALL.

all my AEG were down so i went with a glock in the small of my back, and my MK23 on my thigh with the full intention of going pitols only in CQB environment. and it was a field game. luckily ( not for some) the duke from the mithril detachment ( TEAM MITHRIL) came equiped with several replicas and a huge a$$ samwich!

i have never shot any of the TM shotty's man was i impressed.
my first kill with it was a truly amazing moment, it was a damn apiphany.
i was rolling with PAC, KK was point i was second man, knuckles third and doss bringing up rear security. suddely a burst of AEG rounds takes out KK, and i see the lil ACU wearing shadowfoxer smile as we sprays in my direstion, i ducked, the BB i ducked takes out KK, then doss goes down all in one fantastic spray. i full expect the dude to rush me and spray me, he doesnt, in fact what he does do in all his glory reveling is totally forget ol KA- BAR is in the grass. he takes a knee, pops his mag and begins his reload. i am totally LOLing inside at this point. i raise up from my position, with in 12 feet of the kid, RACK the slide, and level my weapon to his chest. when he hears the racking sound he looks up in horror in to the eyes of a stone cold killer.... i bet at this point you think i am going to call saftey kill....nope. we lock eyes and i say to this kid "boom, you are dead" and pull the trigger....three BB's center mass. then just as he calls hit, a two man element goes down the trail past me. its hunting time... i let them both pass me....then i rack the slide and blast the second man from behind, and the first man spins on me....ol KA-BAR couldnt rack the slide fast enuff. i take the hit.

in the second game PAC got teamed up with shadowfox, so we all rolled together. i got in to a great position to assault the kill house when knuckles decided that my tan legs looked ACU ( who was on our side anyway) so he busted a team kill on me. that was funny.

third game we get defence of the kill house and the yard surrounding it. there was a fence/corregated tin wall at the edge of the yard. some of team shadow fox was using for cover. there was a heavy firefight going on and i was watchig it all. then suddenly a OPfor comes out of nowhere and rushed the fence line to pull a saftey kill on "hammer" team leader for shadowfox. as soon as i saw the perp i racked the slide and yelled "hammer GET DOWN!" as i did the OPfor appeared in my sight picture and tried to reach over the wall. i pulled the trigger just as Hammer dropped to the ground. three BB's flew...two hit OPfor dead in the face, and one whizzzed past hammers head by mere centimeters ( i measured using a replica of alex pearsons hot dog)!

also me and KK had a awsome time on a deep flank, each of us with a Shotty in our hands. as we infiltrated thier ranks from behind we would just peal them off one by one. one OPfor was behind a tree and thought he had the drop on KK. he ghosted his position by fireing on KK, so KK got into position and ley fly plastic death, and missed.....but the guy moved for cover around the tree right where KA-BAR was.....BOOM ANOTHER HEADSHOT at distance.

then there was a OPfor under the branches of a pine tree giving the left flank of the house a very difficult time.we positioned our selves behind him, and i began to sneak up.... i actually got under the branches, with in 8, no 6 feet, and aimed right for his left a$$ cheek and put three BBs strait up his bunghole. he stood up screaming...."why did you team kill me!", i looked at him and smiled.." i am not on your team. he calle dhit and is buddy that was in a forward position behind a tree looked back only to see KA-BAR charging out racking the slide on a shotty and putting him on the deadpool march.

KA-BAR is in the market for a TM shotgun. probably a spas or a M3 shorty.... i cant decide....* paging harley*.

what i am trying to say is...KA-BAR got his 15 bucks worth at the wildboar armoury shootout(not a CQB event).

KA-BAR out

this event was intense. This was my first event and my first time meeting alot of people, met KA-BAR amd ran with him a few rounds, met knuckles and Mithos, and i have to say the environment was amazing, The first round I was put on the forward assault team wich did not suit me too well. The second round was sweet, the yelling and firing and fast pase movement was a sure adrenaline rush. After the break we switched up the objectives and we where on the attack. KA-BAR, Knuckles Dirty, myself and a few others i can't remember names for where sent up the right flank of the kill house. We moved up maybe 20-30 ft from the road when we met OpFor in the barn. After a few minuets of engagement one of the OpFor moved into a position with a superior angle on me and unlloaded on my assautl pack and arm. after the walk back I regrouped with my second in command Britt Ramsey and a few other Shadowfox Members we decided to overload the right flank. There was an easy 10 people on the right flank moving forward as the shotgunners and I stayed back providing covering fire. no more than 10 minuetes later a teammate dunked a grenade into the bathroom window winning the round.

The second round was a blast. The Shotgunners and I stayed in the kill house for most of the round untill an advancement was required, we mainly covered our defenders positions holding the perimiter of the kill house, eventualy time ran out and the round was over.

I'd like to give a big thanks to Steve and the guys from Team Terror Management, Wildboar Armory, and the Owners of the property, the place was great and the people where better. A good ol' rainy muddy shootem up. i loved it!
