How many pistols can someone bring for there person for the beginning of the scenario?

I hate to ask because i just want to show up with seven pistols and a knife only to never shoot cause i suck like that. But i may as well make sure i can put guns in all of my holsters.

damn! You discovered the infamous "show-gun-loophole" that congress has been trying to close! If you can carry 7 guns and a knife, I don't see it as a problem - keeping 'em all fed may be a problem though..... And the border guards might want a bigger bribe....

I guess the rule of thumb is "don't be a menace to society"
