Okay, thanks for the clarification. I was just checking the first page and room clearing was mentioned. Thanks!

For the PMC's does urban camo qualify? Because I have urban and I wanted to wear that.

Personally, when I think PMC, I think 5.11 Tactical pants, a 5.11 Tactical shirt or a solid color polo shirt, a tan ballcap, and a plate carrier.

Urban Camo pants and a black tac-vest makes me think of the low-rent bouncers at 'Dirty' in downtown Portland.

You could try doing a google image search for PMC employees. I highly doubt you will find any that use urban camo. Most of the ones that I worked with either wore the tactical equivalent of Business Casual (the very large majority) or sterile ACUs (two of the 5 MPRI embedded mentors I worked with). I know that DynCorp employees were contractually prohibited from wearing any camoflauge pattern, so as to ensure that they were not mistaken as coalition military personnel, and am pretty sure that most of the other big PMCs were operating under te same restrictions. The only reason the MRPI contractors wore sterile ACUs was that they were required to operate with the military on convoys and it was determined that if they had a distinctive style of dress that seperated them from the other personnel in the convoy that they may be targeted for attack. At the same time, however, MPRI contract employees were prohibited from posessing a weapon or taking part in combat operations. So, I guess to sum it up, I have never seen a combatant contractor in any form of camoflage.

You'd probably be better served with a pair of tan Dockers and a dress shirt than with urban camo if you are determined to roll with a PMC loadout.

I'm certainly not one of the event organizers or staff, so my opinion carries very little (read: absolutely no) weight. Personally, however, I think that trying to roll in urban camo as a PMC would hit a pretty high level of deuchebaggery.

I also run a PMC loadout. Drop me a PM and I will do my best to answer questions. I'm a much nicer person via PM or face to face. Face to face may cost you a cup of coffee at Starbucks or a can of Red Bull, though.

From my experience in the Special Operations community for 20 years and over 8 years of deployment time split up between Iraq, Afghanistan and El Salvador, I can tell you with all certainty that PMC's generally buy cheap 1980's suits from goodwill and wear 3-hole ski-masks. Their weapon of choice is the Mini-Uzi, but since we don't have those, the regular TM Uzi, the Skorpion or dual weilding G18c's or MP5k's is your best bet.

That's totally cool. Thanks for doing that! It's great to see that events can work together.

I wonder what the mission is going to be for No. 5 R.A.C.

So how are these off road vehicles going to be used? Are they just for getting out to where we start then never used until we the game is up, are they going to be used for transporting from objective to objective or something else.

I have several quads at my disposal so I would like to know what I would be doing with them if I bring them.
