It's gotta be my TM P90, my first high end AEG. That thing would lock up at the worst possible times and always in the middle of a field. It never happened while i was test firing it at my house or just dumping a few rounds. After I threw a few upgrades in it, the ROF dropped to about 2 bbs per second.

Echo1 Mk14 EBR. Unreliable, nose-heavy phony pony. Mags didn't feed properly, when they did feed the hop-up was all over the place, the battery installation was a joke, and all of its rather significant weight is forward of the pistol grip. It actually feels heavier than a fully-loaded M249.

My dog wouldn't know what to do with a duck if she caught it, but she's cute. And hates Mexicans. +1!

When you up the spring that much you have to get a better battery to keep up with it. ;)

All of my airsoft guns have been love-hate relationships. The one that's caused me the most grief is the TM AUG, but that's mostly because the part to fix it is never in stock anywhere. But my CA M4 locked up the gearbox magically at one point, my TM MP7's lost the ability to fire in semi and for a while refused to register that I inserted a battery, my TM MP5SD5 was murdering its own gears (this made the worst screech I've ever heard), and on the non-high end scale, my ARMY L85 was always problematic when I actually wanted it to shoot and my Kalash AK-74 can't hit shit even with a Madbull tightbore and upgraded hop along with having the fire selector go to crap.

I have bad luck with guns :P

Bad Karma wrote:f***ing kids. There was a time when Classic Army SAWs were damn close to $1000 new. My first CA G36 was $450+. Now they're what, $250? Shit.

On topic: CA SR25. Paid nearly $500 for the goddamn thing. Fired not 50 rounds through the thing and it made a sound that would make Satan himself cry tears of sorrow. When I opened the gearbox, Classic Army had improperly installed two of the 7mm bearings. All of the bearings had exploded, all of the gears except the pinion gear were stripped, the piston was stripped, the tappet plate was damaged. The whole thing was upsidedown out of the box. Cost me nearly $300 in parts to upgrade/repair everything.

everything you buy breaks like that, in fact im suprised your new gun hasnt died yet.

Yeah...I'm aware. I DID use a better battery but the ROF change was barely noticeable. One of the reasons I ditched it.

A motor swap would have been more advisable.

Ok....seems like my joke was missed. I thought the "Big 5" statement would clarify, but it didn't. Sorry, my bad. I do indeed realize they are NOT high-end, and that is why I have been saving spare money from when I would normally eat to buy something real.
Nasty wrote:TM preforms so well because all TM's have little fairies living in the hopups and gearboxes that give awesome accuracy, but as soon as you take them apart and modify them, the fairies fly away.

It is common knowledge.

KWA M16= POS I hated it. Constantly cracked gearboxes in cold weather.
TM M16A1= costantly broke gears and pistons and the body cracked very easy.

All I added to mine was a spring and bushing upgrage and I had it shooting 350 with an 8.4v rof was good. Then I changed it to 330, added a tightbore, 9.6v battery and its been my primary aeg that way for over 3 years no issues.
