Actually, they also shaved some space in the back of the battery box. Turns out there was like a quarter- a half inch there because TM designed the gun around the 8.4 that comes stock.

i have the echo 1 p90. i like it. great rof and you can get a 9.6 in the stock. you just have to take off a piece of the battery. and they are a lot less dough than the other brands
