Games every Thursday in Lynnwood

Postby MikeRarrmeh [64oz] » Sat Mar 13, 2010 3:13 am

We have a variety of skill levels, most are pretty decent and have kwa/g&g/etc (decent companies) and have camo etc, but there are those few people with pretty bad guns and sweatshirt with jeans

Try coming out to the CGS airsoft group for some fun skirmishes!

Games are fast paced with rare downtime

Normal turnouts right now are about 25-40 due to school, but we want more people, and definitely more regulars

The field is at a church, there are surrounding forested areas all around the play area, huge field, 2 parking lots surrounded by random trees and foliage

Its a very versatile field and ranges from CQB to Long range

There are no age limits, but if you are under 18 we do ask of you to have your parents sign a release form

The FPS limit on our field is 400 with .2s, snipers no more than 550 with .2s

We set up at around 3, start playing at 3:15-3:30 and end at 6-6:30 every Thursday with exceptions of holidays, and possibly some Saturday special events (so we can start sooner due to darkness)

It is a great group of people, very honest with calling hits and have alot of fun

The address to our field is

2609 Larch Way

Lynnwood WA, 98036

Sounds like fun. It's a shame you're so far away.

My parents live up North around Washington, so if I move back in with them before I deploy I'll be sure to show up and check it out.

Yeah its on private property. By the way does anyone know why this post gets switched to general discussion? Does it not count as a game or event?

Because we have forum Nazi's here. It doesn't have an exact date of when you're hosting the event, so it's more of a discussion about regular games happening.

You could edit the initial post, and there are some buttons with a small calendar at the top of the post creation near the title that you can make this a recurring event, I believe.

Not to be a party pooper, but do the cops know what's happening? Is it well off the main road? is everyone required to wear eye protection?

It's not party pooping, Elliott. That's being responsible.

Also, I moved the thread because it doesn't discuss a specific game (with a single, set date) going on.

Yeah they cops know about it, one time one even watched and was considering playing the following weekend lol.

When it first started like a year and a half ago some people would randomly call and the cops would come by out just because they had to even though they knew what was happening, then leave right away

we havnt had that happen in a loooong time though so its usually not an issue

Its by a road but we dont attract much attention, and its not a main road by any means

and yeah eye pro is required, full faced masks arnt but they are encouraged lol, we had someone get their tooth chipped once

Chipped teeth are a standard for any field. Sounds legit to me.

Decent turnout today, I counted 42 then still had some trickle in through the games

Great weather

Awesome games

for those thinking about coming, next week we are trying out a "search and destroy" or "counter strike" gametype with 2 briefcases and stop watches :]

Should be fun if your a fan of any CoD games or CS

Aww, why Thursday? Thats the one day of the week I never have time to do stuff. And Lynnwood isn't that far away too...

Well, you might see me become one of those "Trickle" players.
