OP: Resurrection

This forum is for all games and events within the Pacific Northwest. All organizations/promotors are allowed to post events here, calendar posts are also allowed here.

Guard members:
If you have a Support Weapon that you plan on running LMK. If we have more then 3 then we can work out a plan so you all get time behind them.
Also, lmk if you have radios. I will pick up a cheap set of radios if I need ot to ensure at least fire team level has com.

What do the Fools Gold things look like? Any update on that?

(A Mini-Scavenger Hunt)

There are 15 golden cylinders placed randomly through out the field during Resurrection. They could be found in trees, in a creek, anywhere within a structure or obstacle, under a rock, pretty much anywhere.

The standard AP FPS Limits for any AEG is 400 fps.

There will be a evening game at 8pm. It's a concept that seagreen and I have ran at the field before (weenie feast) and provides some entertainment and is diff than the standard games we generally play. You will be briefed at the game.

There is no fps restrictions according to the rifle you use.
400fps aeg/pistol - 550 sniper rifles using .20g bb

while traget aquisition maybe difficult than other games, please note this:

any person not wearing arm bands on both arms = military
any person wearing blue arm bands on both arms = survivor
any person wearing green arm bands on both arms = infected

there is a respawn dynamic that will be in play that will happen at certain intervals where the players in the classes can become infected, defect to the survivors or survivors defect to the military, (infected remain infected) there is no cure. It will not remain for the entire event but the last 30 minutes of every round/half. It would not be semi unrealistic to not have it this way due to the events that have taken place.

I have a total of four GMRS radios, one I will be using. The others are open to borrow with the provision they won't be lost by user :)

Can you reiterate a little bit. If you get infected as a survivor/NG do you return to your previous role as a survivor/NG or stay Infected.

I'm a little confused, does the extra respawn rule come into effect for ONLY the last 30 min of each round or everything EXCEPT the last 30 min?

Survivors-Id like to give out an oporder at 0900 on game day, if you make it, great, if not, no biggie. Its my first time on the field, so Ill be doing recon around at 16 or 1700 the day before, if any of you wants to tag along you're more than welcome.

If you have a radio pm me, I just want to have an idea of what were working with. i have an extra midland radio and headset if its needed.

during the last 30 minutes of every half people can be switched to other classes if when respawning their dice role lands on a specific number that corresponds to the reclassification action. I may choose to only do this during the first half only or second half only or maybe both still.

There is only one dice so you have a 1 out of 6 chance of this happening to you each time you respawn. Once you have been reclassified you cannot be reclassified again during the half in witch you switched.

I know this may not be everyones cup of tea but remember this is somewhat of immersion gameplay so we need to act as though this scenario is taking place with people becoming infected or others defecting to other groups as it would happen if this were real. The respawn dynamic is a simple to account for these changes. If we do this in the first half and it proves to be poorly effective or executed then we can just scratch it.

I'm assuming the 'No Support Weapons' for Survivors and Infected is in reference to box mags? I was hoping to use my RPK with midcaps on Survivors, simply because its my only AEG besides my Thompsons.
