DPMS=PANTHER ARMS=CYBERGUN=JG?

Postby malik » Tue Jun 08, 2010 7:29 pm

I keep seeing these and am wondering what the difference is? I don't mean the clear plastic Panther Arms/DPMS aegs/springers. I mean the slightly good looking M16s and M4s that are supposedly CYBERGUN/JG ?rebranded? ones. I am not looking for a "I hate those" thread. I just want to know if they are the same as JG and if not what are their quality levels? Do they have the same internals as a good AEG only with crappy parts?
We want 'em to know if they're gonna leave a bomb on the side of the road, first, we're just gonna blow up their little f**kin road.

Cybergun is a brander, like Echo 1. Usually Cyberguns are Cymas, although they can be a number of other companies. I don't think I've seen any Jing Gongs for sale by them, though, usually that's Echo 1's turf.

I had one of those, I payed 220 for it, it is shit. The fps is around 330 and the upper reciever is pot metal, a part on delta ring snapped in half, the battery was horrible, the gun came with no RIS rail, it didn't hurt, it wasn't very accurate, and the ROF was horrible.

If I remember correctly Cybergun has re-branded JG 552s.

I have seen those rebranded 552s at tool's Sporting Goods.
