Double Eagle M83

Postby Moromis » Tue Jun 08, 2010 7:06 pm

I have an upcoming game, and all I have at hand (for the moment) is the Double Eagle M83. I was wondering if any of you have or had it, and if it's practical for a game. The game wouldn't be anything huge, probably a bit bigger than a backyard kind of game.

I have gotten bored at games and dropped everything and ran with just a shottie. It's fun.

It's a stupid gun. I owned one, and even in springer wars it couldn't hit crap and the BBs fly too slow to bother anyone. That said, it's still fun  Don't expect to get kills with it, though. It is okay for suppressing fire at the springer wars level.

I was testing one for a customer and I was afraid I was going to break the trigger.

It has a hard trigger pull like an m79, it won't break (mine has gone through 1,500 rounds and still kicking).

It should be fine in a small skirmish, its a great gun (shotgun wise, anyway).

( ^ ^ I was talking about the DOuble Eagle M3 ^ ^ )

EDIT: *FACEPALM* I see what you did there Ivan...

The Double Eagle M83 AEG is garbage, mine was eventually used as a piñata bat and broke into two pieces...

Wait a second, are you talking about the M83 shotgun or the M83 AEG?

Hmmm. I read M3.
Disregard all my comments. (As you should anyway.)

shazaam all of you. My first LPEG was a Double Eagle M83. That shit was so bleeding awesome for the 10 minutes it worked. The thing is fine for backyard skirmishes against similar guns. I had my M83 when I was about his age, and all of my friends had springers. Total domination.

EDIT: @Sixxgun - Yep, 100% plastic down to the gears. Well, the spring is metal, I think. And the barrel I vaguely remember being shitty brass, but yeah. Plastic through and through. One fall/misstep/drop and you'll break it in half.

Hey, thanks for all the replies. I shouldn't have it for much longer, I'm gonna buy a nice sniper rifle. We'll see how I do in this game, though. :D

Dont get a sniper, Get an AEG and learn to play first.
