Hop ups

Postby CCCman » Sat Sep 11, 2010 3:02 pm

Hi, i will buy this g&g combat machine and this metal body (linked below), and i was wondering if the stock hop up on the gun is good. If it isn't good, is the hop up that comes with the metal body better?

As far as I know, the Matrix brand metal body is actually made by Dboys, and the Ver2 gearbox by the Dboys has a slightly longer air seal nozzle.
You probably like to try the G&G one first, if it works, I suggest stick with it :)

The Dboys nozzle is slightly longer by just a tad and does not work with after market hop ups from my experience. However regular V2 nozzles work just fine with Dboy parts. The Combat machine has an OK hopup but it's much better than a Dboys one. I suggest getting a Guarder, madbull or G&P hop up with an H nub

do you know if a g&p or mabull metal body would be any better? are they worth the extra money? (not talking about hopup, im talking about the metal body quality)

The G&P metal bodys are still die cast aluminum but the paint and attention to detail is much higher than a jg or dboy body. I do not know anything about the madbull bodies but if they're anything like their other products they're going to be amazing. They look to be very well made from the pictures Ive seen. You can also get real steal trades instead of the Evike trades

I don't have experience with the other bodies, but I am a big fan of the quality of my G&P. It has taken a good amount of abuse during games and has withstood it all. From my experience it shouldn't disappoint.

The G&G hop ups are great as I've heard. I am acutally planning on replacing my CA hop up with one since a Madbull Ultimate probably won't fit (my M4 is blowback, meaning the space for the hop up is very restricted)
Please, I insist.

The older G&G hop ups were good. the ones that come in the Combat Machines are a POS and don't work very well
