DBoys m4 cqb...feeding problems.

Postby Sho Nuff » Wed Oct 06, 2010 9:55 am

I am having issues with my gun feeding in full auto. Shoots fine in semi auto which is what I use more, but when I switch to full auto, nothing is coming out. Switch back to semi, and its all good. Any I deas?

What mags are you using? Do any bb's come out when shooting full auto? Have you messed with any internals? How old is the gun?

The mags work fine in my g&p, so i dont think its the mags. I have been using .20 or .23 bio bb's. the gun is just over a year old but not a lot of use.

Do any bb's come out of the gun when shooting full auto? Or absolutely nothing? Have you tried different magazines? Have you tried pushing the mags forward while shooting?

My dboys are picky with magazines sometimes. Usually they don't click in properly, and are misaligned to the hop up unit. Since it works fine on semi-auto, I would say it's a magazine issue, or possibly a hop up problem.

My dad has had feeding problems with one of his guns and he thought it was the bb's. sure enough, after buying a new brand of bio's, it was working fine. make sure you don't spill water or soda or any liquid on your hands and digging into your bag of bb's.
