airsoft in the snow

Postby cptcrazy » Mon Nov 01, 2010 7:28 pm

It just occured to me that every once in a while this area of the world will have snow in the winter. (who would have thought)

I was wondering if the snow reaches the fields that are played on?

I have only been to games in the summer, yeah I know fair weather fan. so I was wondering if I should buy some snow gear, i.e. white clothing.

Thanks in advance

@Panzer, from the look of your signature it looks like you only play in the snow.

if your thinkin snow camo it really depends on how much is on the ground, if you in a woodland setting or not. because if you are then your gonna look like rambo frosty.
They are in the base i repeat they are in the base...oh for the love of god get over there and shoot em bob!

CAG's January or February training will be in the snow. We're recommending a cheap set of overwhites ($20) and bringing your own cross country skis. Camping will be optional, as will snow shoes.

Snow games kick a$$. I've played in Snow at Scappoose and the Estacada Quarry. It's a hell of a thing when all the sound is deadened and the ground is white instead of... woodland.

If your playing in the environment panzer's profile picture is taken in then snow camo would work but otherwise i stick with woodland/marpat/multicam or whatever you got.

IMHO the best camo for snow games is ACU/UCP pants and a Marpat Top.

Which reminds me, I need a new set of ACU/UCP pants.

That'd be nice.

The Scappoose field usually gets snow.
