what type of barrel you needs depends on what gun you have. Letting us know what gun you have will allow us to better help you.

Go about 3/4 or a little more down the page and there is a pretty good upgrade guide for the UTG L96.

Jaydork, the UTG L96 or "Shadow Ops" is an APS2 system. You need specifically designated "APS2" parts. Please refer to this thread: http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=34037&highlight=
Same gun same recommendations. Shoots about 560-570 when fully upgraded with just the kit and barrel.

It already has the Echo-1 ASR upgrade kit installed, all he would need is a tbb and possibly a sear set

Thanks guys, my bad on posting this in the AEG section. Some other questions that i dont see in any searches (can never find anything in searches, probably doing something wrong) would it be a good idea to get some barrel spacers, a new bucking and possibly a new hop up chamber. What exactly are the barrel spacers? they look like hop up nubs to me.
