Yep, and who cares about ebb on an airsoft gun? The blowback is weak and that is just more moving parts that have the possibility to break.

Which is why there's no market for GBBR's...

No, I wasn't discrediting blowback, I was discrediting the weak electric blowback. Gas blowbacks are much more noticeable than electrics.

I don't think you've shot the TM G36k yet, I use to say the same thing. ;)
The blowback on it is very crisp, almost the same as the WE M4 GBBR.

Many more people than you'd think really like the electric blowback feature. Just because you don't doesn't mean other people don't.

A lot of people also think the EBB cause's damage. But the Spring tension added to it (The Charging handle spring) is almost none compared to the AEG Spring.

Have you tried too compress a M120 AEG by hand all the way until it can't anymore?

Yeah, a simple spring on the Charging handle is not going to break it.

Yeah, a simple spring on the Charging handle is not going to break it.

I didn't say it would damage the gearbox, what I said was that it was one more moving part that has the potential for breaking.

Everything that's an "add on" to anything brings one more moving part that has the potential for breaking. Just like a new really cheap pouch for your vest, new red dot scope for your gun or a spoiler for you car. Point is, a piston in a AEG is more little to break than the blow-back feature. Even if it does, who cares the gun is still useable.

Ares H&K Umarex g36
Cons:
I got this gun and... I havent played one match without problems!!! The connectors are shit, but thats is easy to change. The hop up is not good, and the bucking got ripped of after 2 games. The things which are good is polymer material, more robust than abs, but srsly, dont care as internals dont work =/... Tight battery space (barerly an 8.4 1500 mah), Dont feed well, jams too much,

Pros: I love how you can take the gun apart inless than 30 secs. Polymer externals, rails in handguard are included. Blowback. H&K logo.

Tokyo Marui G36: Very powerful and realistic recoil, less fps, metal hop up (far better than ares), and thats pretty much whats better after my experience...

I was about to click order button on the KWA G36 when I remembered ARES version of the G36...
I'm getting this:
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6798

1. Easy spring change
2. Blowback feature
3. Bolt catch serves as spring release

I'm gonna fly soon like a G36...

:!: I forgot about that! That's a very useful feature! Man, The pros of the ARES are just piling up. KWA doesn't have any on the ARES now.

Except the fact that the Ares internals never function...

Don't get me wrong, I like KWA internal parts. I went for Ares for easy spring swap. I hate to disassemble a good gun like KWA to downgrade its spring to around 300+ FPS. I need the downgrade to be CQB compliant.

Here is a take down video on the ARES G36C gearbox.
