G&G combat machine vs Matrix M4a1 vs JG M4a1

Postby CCCman » Sat Nov 06, 2010 8:51 pm

So, i am building a gun and I will be using a base gun which will be an standard m4a1. I have in mind the three linked below. I will only keep the stock tube and the gearbox since I'm pretty much replacing everything else. Which of the below has the best gearbox? Which has the best stock tube?

I personally suggest the JG M4A1 since it is the Godfather/Big brother of all clones.

I would Say G&G. With those 3 guns, the G&G internals are better, and the Externals are too.

Never heard or Matrix, but it has an 8mm gearbox which is awesome. I would say get the JG since you are only keeping a few parts, but since they are all the same price one of the other two is probably the best choice.

The Combat Machine has to be the nicest M4 for a budget you can get, I wasn't disappointed with mine at all, it exceeded my expectations. Then I sold it on Craigslist :)

Thanks for the replies guys, i think I'm gonna go with the g&g since it has a nice box (i know) and it is g&g so the parts are made of good materials...but I'm still stuck with the g&g and the matrix because the internals of the matrix look soo nice!

I would recommend the G&G. I've had my combat machine for around 4 months now and it's running like a champ. The pistol grip is a little weird to me, but that's just IMO. I was really worried about the strength of the plastic body, but it's actually very good quality for being so affordable. The trademarks aren't engraved (durr) or anything special, but I'm not a trademark whore.

And I would also recommend not ordering from Evike. Go ASGI or Airsoft Outlet NW, if they have them in stock.

It's an "Aim Top." I saw the specs from the company Evike buys them off and they are pretty decent. However I do think they are a bit overstated in performance than they actually are.

I would have to agree on the Combat Machine though. G&G really hit a home run IMO with these and the "raider" series. Very decent guns for the price.

One of my team members has a G&G Raider, and it's not a bad gun... definitely better than a JG. Sturdy externals, good internals, and the blow-back sounds cool.

G&G all day.

It will put the Jg and matrix to shame. They're badass rifles very nice rate of fire, and there actually really reliable. theres like 8 of these on the field where i play and i'v never seen anyone have a problem with any of them.
i'v never heard anything bad about them also
