Battery Wire Loose - Help!

Postby graham. » Sat Jan 01, 2011 6:13 pm

So while pulling my gear out tonight to start getting ready for the skirm tomorrow, I realized one of my black wires has come loose. Looks like the one that goes from one cell pack, to the other.

Is there any way to fix this? Or am I just plain outta luck and need to buy a new one?
And if the the latter is true, is there anyone going to Snowmageddon with a deans battery I can borrow?

I can fix it, just not at the game.

So it can be fixed, cool.

Can you tell me how to do this? Or is it some super high speed thing that no woman can comprehend? ;)

It just needs soldered back in place is all. So, no, not "womanproof" but might need a tool and/or skill you don't necessarily have.

I find it amusing how Carrie always takes her pictures on her bed. It makes me wonder what other pictures are out there.

The tool you need is a type of iron, it certainly isn't woman-proof. ;)

Thanks. ;)

My dad has one buried out in the garage somewhere - trying to see if he can find it.

Also, Ogre, I could spoil your fun, but I'll just let your imagination have fun.

If you're going to Snowmageddon, which is the only game I can think of that is ocurring tomorrow, and your battery is not functional by then, I would not fret. I am sure someone has batteries to spare, and in fact I have the same kind of battery that you have, wired to deans. I'd be glad to lend it to you.

Just sayin'.

Normally I would have a spare but I'm down to one after one of my new AONW ones took a tank and won't charge. I have an inverter and can bring my solder station though if you want

She ended up getting it fixed, although I might end up needing one if my primary decides to take a powder ;) Good to see your coming up!
