Go with what Limpy said. Keep in mind you'll need to have the battery wired to a deans connector, and you can either rewire the charger to deans, or get a tamyia to deans converter. Or just wire the gun to a tamiya! (but deans is better)

Change the connectors on the battery. $3.50 will get you one set of male/female deans connectors at the local hobby store...

...which won't do him any good without a soldering iron or the skills to use it. Granted, it's an easy skill and a cheap buy.

right now im looking at budget of 400 for everything so gun, 2 batterys, smart charger, mags, speed loader, goggles, a scarf to protect the teeth, and maybe kneepads. i already know where im going to get the batterys and smart charger, the only problem i have with the g&p is since it uses deans connecters the bats and charger im thinking of getting off of amazon might not work with that AEG.

Goto dicks/sportsmans warehouse to get some shooting glasses. 8 bucks will get you ANZI rated glasses that don't look retarded.

I have that one in my G&P and have had no issues with it. I also got it from the same website so no worries about them being legit or not. Also, you don't really need 2 batteries. The one I linked above has lasted me at all day ops in the cold without dieing so unless you mistake your M4 for a SAW, you should be fine.

Check on ebay for Alta knee pads. There are more used ones up there than you can shake a drunk marine at. They are also amazingly built and comfy knee pads.

Definitely get the battery wired over to deans. If you don't feel comfortable soldering the connectors, Jester will do it for a price. I've had him wire over all my guns/ batteries to deans and he didn't jank them up so he must be doing something right

I apprecite the advice, but could you guys recommend someting in the same price range but i would not have to modify the battery and charger if not that is ok to. thanks again.

also might this be a good AEG minus the mags being a bit pricey
