What is the best brand for swappable uppers?

I had the same thought a long time ago and saw a Youtube video from ASGI.

But ASGI ran out of stock. I ended up buying a new AEG... I'm sure it can still be done.

Good luck!

Is it going to be wired to the front or the back? If its gonna be wired to the back I would say a G&P. My G&P's upper slides off with the barrel assembly and it only requires the front pin to be taken out. Not sure if all G&P upper's are like this but mine is and its pretty snazzy.

Mine is like that too (G&P) but if you want to block 2 rails on it, you have to buy a Madbull ris 2 barrel nut...

if i were going to do it, i would use a CA. its a good base, and you can find plenty of second hand guns on the used market to get another upper.

My G&P's swap out uppers (defender and M16) no problem.

You gonna rear wire your gun? Because that's kind of a must.

Nasty wrote:So I'd like to make a Block II M4, but I'd like the ability to quickly switch between upper receivers (so I can have MK18 and 12" uppers).

Now, question is, what is the best brand of AEG for this? I want a brand that is high end (for example CA, G&P, etc), and I need to be able to easily find another upper receiver, so I don't have to buy a brand new complete body for it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
