noob needs help!!!

i probably am putting a dumb question up but i couldn't find the answer on the search bar thing.
my problem is my g&p m4.... i cant take the front body pin out. i tried using a screw driver, a flat head wedging it from the other side, and i even pounded it with a mallet. i'm stuck and just got a new barrel for it so i want to put it in but i cant.
help me and don't hate on me for not being able to open my gun.

Hm, I don't think it HAS to be removed persay.. Remove triange sight, handgauds, DELTA RING, any other crap on the outer barrel, unscrew delta ring, pull straight off. The only problem with this way is the hop-up may be hard to work with, as it'll be hanging out-

I am referring to the body when I say the below info.
If not, does yours have the two-screws set-up? If so, try unscrewing the small one, then pounding out the other pin. If your issue is the screw's stuck... Hum, worst case scenario, turn it in to a flat head screw-

Did you take the screw out? It should just pop right out.

Then don' bother parting receivers if all you want to change are barrels. Just be carefull with the inner/hop-up.

Did you take the allen screw out? What I would do is find a small screw driver after i took out the allen screw and a hammer and sort of use it as an ice pick and usually it comes right out.

Where is there an allen screw in a body pin?

Body pins can be tricky, some just need a properly placed screw driver and a hammer.

Jester some bodypins (like with KWA's) have an allen screw on either side. on the one side it acts kinda like a cap and the other is a pin with a threaded end. Don't know why they would do this though seems a little too redundent.

Probably because its done with real guns. My colt has this arrangement. Its to prevent the pins from walking out in an inconvenient location / time (combat)
