This little lady disagrees with you ;)

I love it when a rifle's balance is nicly centered about the grip, but sometimes a rifle's iconic sexiness is more important. At least for skunkAPE, who I met on Friday, I don't think rifle weight is a concern.

no sir , you are right weight not a huge concern i am 6'5" 260 but i will still rock a sling for when not in firing position, it will still get heavy. but the pure hawtness of it is enough for me.

Oops, you're right. It's still sexy... and front heavy. I mean the gun, of course.

I'm 5' 11" and 145lbs, i'm planing on lugging the beast around (the one scared has is mine :D ). Don't think it'll be much of a problem. I'm used to an m700 with a scope and that thing is long and fairly heavy. never used a bipod or a sling. Had a macky on my back as well (not that it's very heavy...). I'm sure i'll be just fine with this thing.

couple questions id like responses on about this replica. 1.) what people think about going 11.1v batteries to make up for the semi-slower rof? bad on internals? heard if trigger happy may burn out? 2.) i really like fore grips, a.) can a ris be attached for one? b.) would that just look retarded? c.) is there a better alternative for a for grip than adding a ris? such as a direct connect version? d.) what people think about putting maybe a 4x acog on to make it a some-what long range dmr type? these may be dumb ?'s but i do not know the answers and DO NOT want dumb answers only friendly advice. thx.

Yes you can burn out your contacts if you use an 11.1v LiPo, but if you get a proper Mosfet installed then your contacts will be fine. You also want to double check the reinforcement of the piston, gears, and gearbox shell. If the reinforcement is meh then I replace it or else one of the components in the gearbox will go kaput. This is especially for V2 gearboxes. V3, V6, V7 you can get away with a bit of abuse. I forget which one the FNC has.

Honestly though just get a speed motor. It will give you 11.1v speed with the standard torque motor, but on a 7.4v. If that's not enough (it's usually around 1200 RPM with a speed motor which I find this to be the ideal outdoor ROF) then you can throw in the 11.1v and get probably 1800 RPM (I'm not sure as I have not chronoed with an 11.1v on a speed motor yet).
