for me personally echo 1's never seem to last long stock, they need to be upgraded to stay alive. and like some other the guys are saying its HARD to find Classic army replicas- 1. there's only a few if u can find them being sold new -2 owners of classic army replicas won't part with them :D

I'm a proud owner of a CA SL-8...took me three years to find, had to buy it off a starving college student, but it was worth it!

So I say get the CA

In my opinion it depends on the model of the gun you are buying. For the sake of arguement ill compare my Echo 1 Stag-15 to my CA BT5-A2. My stag I got for 60 bucks off Craigslist brand new. Was a little meh at first, considering it was a plastic body but after I broke it in its been one of the best guns I've owned. Just recently i bought a used BT5 sportline. guns solid as a rock and hits pretty hard. I plan to use it with my Stag at my next match and cant wait to see how it handles.

My conclusion; CA BT5s are awesome if you can get your hands on one :P
