Everyone talks about this m249 weight problem. I guess I don't understand it. My SAW is like 4 pounds more than most AEG assault rifles..? I mean it's decently heavy, but not like an M60VN with tons of weight, all being in the front. Or an M240..

+1! Sunday during capture the flag I sprinted out to the base the first two rounds and was among the first two people inside. I was way faster than most of the other people on my team, and was carrying the M249.
Fat lazy-ass airsoft kids being unable to run with anything more than an M4.
Besides, I do think that there should be a reward for carrying the extra pounds. This Ares AMG thing looks cool - and I agree with Darius that 500 round boxmag reloads could be nifty. When you take into account that the gun is lighter, I don't think the user deserves 2400 rounds a nutsack.
