Broken MP5 rear sight

Postby Kenneth » Mon Aug 01, 2011 11:06 am

After using my echo 1 mp5 for a few firing tests the rear sight seemed to break. I thought it was loose at first because it just kept on spinning instead of stopping on the holes drilled in it. I tried to tighten it but there are no screws linked with it. Has anyone had this problem and how can i fix it.

Ehh, The problem I had with my E1 MP5 was that there was a little metal peice sticking out. It looked as if it were a manufacturer's defect or somethng. No pics, as I dont have the gun anymore.

Couldn't find a replacement receiver or rear sight. Try putting this on http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info ... s_id=25589 + an optic. Fix's the whole problem :)

Yeah, my mp5 rear sight had a screw holding it in. Unscrew that, the rear sight came out. But agreed, cant find a G3/MP5 rear sight online... If your not too picky, just leave the front sight on lol. Or buy that 55 dollar red dot built specifically for MP5's/G3's.
