That's what I keep telling the kids. They don't listen.

Yeah, he got an OEM gear shipped.

I think he's running an 11.1v 3000Mah battery or some such insanity. The guns go great till they don't.

Actually KWA started installing shims as of recently. http://www.kwausa.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5855

Interesting, thanks for the info.

Nec,

The gun does about 28 bps at around 385 fps with .20's. The battery is actually only a 2200 Mah 11.1v. Yes, I expect problems. On one side, the thing is fuckin' scary most of the time. Other times, I grab my trishot shotgun. It's also making me learn to work on them.

Speaking of working on them, I got the gearbox back together, but the antireversal fell out in the process and I'm pretty sure I didn't get it back in correctly. I'd appreciate a picture of a gearbox that shows the little spring's correct position.

Once again, thanks to AONW--within 24 hours I had the new part. The wife complains less when there's shorter periods of time where she "can't touch that!"

*Note this is an old test gearbox. I attempted to drill out the bushing holes at one time with a drill bit, this gearbox does not have any bushings installed.

This is what the connection between the reversal latch and bevel gear should look like when the gearbox is closed.

Sometimes if the anti reversal latch has a stiff spring or is just a pain in the a$$ I’ll put a small blob of grease in the hole to keep it from “exploding”. KWA guns fit together quite nicely so you shouldn’t have a problem.

Ah.

Yep, it's on the wrong side of the bevel gear.

Thanks for your help.
