will a 11.1v battery have any negative effects on my gun or just make it shoot faster?

Using an 11.1 on a stock G&G will most likely ruin your internals (without upgrading the gearbox of course)

Batteries are really essential part for your favorite electronics like digital cameras, MP3 players ,RC Helicopter etc. It is always good to have NiMH rechargeable battery sets. There are many providers that are available online to check out the RC Battery you want. I would recommend having a look at the all-battery.com deal offered by Tenergy.

You should never use a 11.1 in a stock combat machine. use a 9.6 or an 8.4 untill you upgrade your internals and stuff.

g&g's combat machine will be able to handle a 11.1v just as well as a kwa rifle, the internal in those guns are so much more robust than other guns in the same price range. I can't recommend it though, if you feel like going lipo try a 7.4v

Couldn't have said it any better. Only thing to worry about with an 11.1v is your trigger contacts so I'd suggest you look into extreme fire fets
