jm m4?

Postby Saviour » Thu Sep 22, 2011 9:09 pm

So I was cruising the internet and saw this gun for sale. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/jm-m4-urx-rifle-aeg.html
It seems like ehobby is trying to pair it up with the brand kac, which is partners with tm (as far as I've understood). Does anybody have any background information on this company called jm? Thanks for the help guys

i have never heard of this brand before and from the review under the gun you selected it's not worth the money. It's made from china and has lower grade internals. I would suggest moving to a more popular brand like KWA, A&K, ICS, G&G, ARES, classic army ECHO 1, and many more.

if you want to have a durable long lasting airsoft gun i would consider you buy a $200-250+ gun. in this range you will be able to get a full metal (or mostly metal) gun.

it looks like you are gearing towards m4's i will give you a few to look at.

under $200:
CA Full Metal Premium Sportline LWRC M6 Carbine Airsoft Gun
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=7974

Combat Machine M4-A1 Carbine Airsoft Gun
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=7661

ECHO 1 STAG-15 A1 Carbine Airsoft Gun
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=1975

$200-250
ARES Full Metal M4A1 Airsoft Gun
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6791

Airsoft GI G4-A3 Blowback Version Airsoft Gun
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=5120

here are just a few guns for you to look at, they all don't come with chargers or a battery.
I would get a quick smart charge battery and a 9.6v 1600 mAh battery
more mAh = longer charge time. ~ 1-2 shot per mAh

I hope this helps.

Well thanks for that. But I've been playing Airsoft for 12 years and no good from bad. I just wanted to know if anybody knew of this brand. I would have bought this gun simply for the look, and swapped out internals the second I got it. So again, does anybody know anything about this brand (not trying to be a jerk, just trying to get some info on the company). Thanks for your input though

Not to troll or anything...But..

A&K - China
CA - China (HK actually but still "China")
E-1 - China
Ares - Also China (think they are HK based as well)

Point is, just cause it's Chinese doesn't mean it's crap ;)

Oh and I'd avoid Ares M4's like the plague. Damn microswitch gearbox

E1 isn't necessarily made in China. Their mini gun and single shot shotgun are made in Japan by CAW

This picture right here shows you the quality control that goes into these guns. Rusting on the internals of a brand new out of the box gun is never a good sign. Makes you wonder about the conditions of the other internals as well.

I only see rusting on the dust cover, which happens with CAs fast as well, and is a non-essential part mainly there for looks.

Yeah. So far as you can see this brand new gun is already rusted. I'm just saying that doesn't give me a lot of confidence in it without hearing someones first hand exp with it.
