So I guess if a guy responds to my add, and wants to make a trade, asks that we both ship on the same day and he won't ship unless its the same day I'm shipping, then after I ship and he claims he ships, but I never get anything, then I'm shit out of luck?

Don't send anything to this guy. His "wife" takes it to the PO for him on the day that you ship, yet you get no tracking number and he doesn't reply once you send your stuff...

We advise against these types of trades. It's in bold on top of the Classified Ads page. In other words, yes, you might be shit out of luck.

I know. Well it was sent a week and a half ago. His package arrived at his place Thursday of last week, and mine was supposed to get here Friday of last week. I've texted and called him every day, but no response what so ever. I know I was taking a chance, but I figured with the info I have I could at least make a valiant effort right?

Or you could find his facebook account and stalk him, the accounts of his relatives, start posting craigslists ads for him... etc.
Use your imagination.

It's not that far of a drive, in the end.

He's a known scammer. He scammed me on the TAC (tacoma) airsoft forums, and was banned. he went by "jgolveo" or something on the boards.... I threatened police action and he ended up sending the broken gun with missing pieces after about a month... He said it was lost in customs. Going from Everett to Issaquah.

In that case, i would be making a drive up there and spending a few days sitting outside to have a talk with him.

It might be a fake address. I know he gave me a weird one that he said was his "work" address or something... I don't know if a drive up to Everett from OR would even be worth it gas money/time wise.

Yeah, if this guy is Jgolveo, then he's probably one of the biggest scammers in the PNW. I can't even remember how many people he's scammed before this.

Yeah, LONG time ago.....

That's him, I recognize the name (well, one of them). He's scammed at least 10 people out of thousands of dollars of guns, IIRC from the TAC thread. I thought someone actually did file a report with the cops up there, don't know if anything ever came of it.
