Anyone how this gun? What is your opinion on it?
My issue is that it does not come with a mag or a battery. So I am leaning toward Echo 1 guns.

Your statement is half wrong, this gun does come with a magazine, but not a battery.

If you had a bit more money to spend on a battery and charger, you will love me in the long run. I have had both a Echo 1 M4 and a Combat Machine M4 and the Echo 1 M4 lasted me 2 games and the Combat Machine has lasted me 5+ games.

Would the Intellect 9.6v 1600mAh NiMH Nunchuck be good?

Yes that would be good, if you want to save some money you could with something with less maH (Which will determine how long your battery will last) here: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=3360

Also if you have any wall chargers you got from any former airsoft guns (if you have old airsoft guns) don't use them for this gun, best charger for cheap would be this one :

I know its getting a bit pricey but believe me in my opinion you will be better off this way than getting an Echo 1. To help you out if you use "tim" in the coupon code when ordering you'll get 10% off and since your order is over $100 already you'll get free shipping.

Hope I helped.

That's not that much more. I was aiming for about $200. So right in my range. Thanks man.

They're alright guns. Just be aware that most magazines need to be held up into the receiver to feed reliably.

Also they dislike anything besides .2g BBs.

Imma look into a few others, but I am leaning toward the Combat Machine series.

I thought this was the first gen and they've remedied that problem?

Not feeding and only fires .2s? and it's still an OK gun? You are very forgiving. Have you tried King Arms plastic M16 mags? I have 2 M4s that will only feed properly with them. Hit me up sometime and you can try one out.

I believe I read something about this, but could be confusing it with something else.

Battery

JohnnyBoii, How do you feel about LIPO? The only problem with NIMH in my experience is that their power level tends to fall off towards to middle/end of their charge especially with a 400 something AEG.

Two pieces of tape in the back of the magwell fixes the problem.
