A&K m16 SPR mod 0 upgrades

Postby Marpat » Fri Jan 20, 2012 12:31 pm

I just bought an A&K m16 SPR mod 0 and i am looking into upgrading it to become a beast. i want to use it more as a semi auto sniper with more range accuracy and fps. it will also have the ability to go full auto in case i want to play a different role on the battlefield. money is not my concern right now because i am broke and planning on adding the parts as i get the cash but i just wanted to know what i should do with it to get the most out of it. be specific please and include brand and models if you can, i am open for most ideas so please comment.

Generally those models have pretty decent FPS, so leave the gearbox alone.
Get:
Madbull 6.01 barrel, its the 500mm size or something like that
Madbull Ultimate Hop up OR Modify awesomesauce hopup
G&G Blue Hop up rubber

Optional: an 11.1v battery to decrease trigger response time.

Run good ammo through that setup and you should be pleased with the results.

No I don't. The fishbone hopup rubbers don't work well in my opinion.

G&G does not make a blue hop up bucking. Mad Bull does and is not part of the fishbone package anymore.

Not trying to make this into a debate. I just thought it was a simple typo on your part and was trying to help make sure info was correct for the kid.

That is the G&G Cold Weather Bucking. Those are great as well.

However the Mad Bull Blue Buckings are great as well but can be tough to insert into some hopup units due to the buckings thickness.

The G&G ones are much thinner and I have put those into many customers aegs and they perform great. especially this time of year as they are designed to work in cold weather conditions.

I find the madbull blue buckings to work REALLY well when they do work... They're really picky about what hopup/barrel combos they work with.

What I've seen is that the Madbull HU rubbers don't work well in the Madbull Ultimate HU unit. They jam. Ironic eh? Anyways a G&G rubber in the Madbull HU unit works really well.
