KWA M4 RIS?

Postby RedRogueRanger » Wed Jan 25, 2012 11:18 pm

Hey I'm looking into buying myself the KWA M4 RIS. Just wondering if this gun is worth the purchase. To me it seems like a no brainer.

Here's a link. http://www.airsoftoutletnw.com/index.ph ... &Itemid=28

...Thanks!

Not worth it. Go for Aftermath.

I have to disagree with mcnair. I have a KWA M4 RIS and I love it. It is consistent, well built and feels good. I have over the course of a few games thrown it to the ground and it is perfectly fine.

Yes it is sometimes annoying when it comes to mags feeding but it doesn't bother me too much. It really just depends on the mags you get.

I'm going to be at Op Sundown 3 if you wanted to take a look at mine.

Hope this helps. Cheers.

I think the crossman would be a better choice. They shoot a wicked 270 fps and almost 300 rpm!!!

I saw a nice JG with red tiger stripe shooting 480FPS on seattle's craigslist today. That would be the best, I think.

I'm not lying or exaggerating. I honestly like my KWA, I have two in fact and am thinking about getting one of their sport line models when they come out. I'm not saying they are without fault, what is?

I have found that my KWA is reliable, hard hitting, and durable as hell as I talked about in my first post. I'm not saying they are for everyone and am not saying that they are a god in the AEG world, I am merely giving an opposing opinion that I can back up with personal experience so RedRogueRanger here can make an informed decision.

mcnair, you are also suggesting a gun that shoots 480 fps which is not legal with anything AP does. This doesn't seem terribly productive for a 16 year old. Granted I don't know how technically proficient he is but you will have to at minimum down grade that if you would want to use it around here.

That is my $.02... more like $.50.

Cheers.

I can't speak for Mcnair, but the whole crossman and aftermath thing was a sarcastic joke. I have 3 KWA's and they are all outstanding. Best rifles on the market for a reasonable price IMO.

If you haven't already realized, they're trolling.

@ RRR: You pretty much answered the question yourself when you wrote "its pretty much a no-brainer"

These guys deal with questions like these so much they don't even bother anymore.

There is enough evidence on this board already of the quality of KWA AEGs, so you asking that questions almost guarantees a verbal assault.

If there is one thread that is ultimately despised on airsoft forums it is the "Is this gun good/worth it?" question. The internets are full of reviews. Use the internets.

I like turtles.

Asking AP "iz dis TEH beatest thing evar!1!!1?125!1!28!!!"(Unless it involves turtles) is the trigger of waking McNair from his sleeping den. Along with useless questions we don't give two shits about. I also disagree with McNair all the time.

UTG makes the best AR platforms out there IMO.

It's a bleeding KWA, why are you asking us if it's good? They're not generally POS's unlike the occasional JG.

You got trolled so hard.

KWA are great. they come upgraded. They break like every other gun, but at least you won't break them while upgrading.

But if you break it within 45 days of purchase they'll give you a replacement [citation needed] :D
