AK Question!

I want an AK74, and I want to put an optic on there. Will an AK47 scope mount fit or do I need some fancy scope mount?

It should work fine as long as the manufacturer got the dimensions right.

If the mount fits on a 47, you can most certainly count on it fitting on a 74.

What particular mount are you thinking of putting on your AK?

The second one will not fit on a standard AK dust cover, only specific models that come with that kind of mount.

It says contractor AKs. Can I safely assume that it will fit a CYMA Contractor AK? ((Sorry if I missed it in the description))

Fit a scope mount on an AK47?! Holy mother of god as in a AK-47N? Those are crazy rare! I'm even having a hard time finding pictures on Google...oh wait, you are probably talking about the AKM or if it has a side mount then correctly know as the AKMN...carry on.

Either way all of the airsoft side mounts the same. They are based off of the AK-74M side mount. Airsoft AK-47, AKM, and early AK-74 series all have the wrong side mount.
