As Russian Forces push through the eastern border region of Poland and destroy NATO outposts along the way they finally seize the capital of Gdansk Poland. They hastily occupy a series of WWII bunkers that overlook the Gulf of Gdansk as Russian VDV airborne units (76th Guards) race west towards the German border.
NATO waits to exploit the Russians’ exposed flank and supply lines by conducting a maritime RAID into the bunker complex. Members of the 24th MEU SOC (Marine Expeditionary Unit – Special Operations Capable) and 2nd Force Reconnaissance Company conduct an over the horizon (OTH) insertion into the littoral zone.
NATO intelligence (S-2) suggests that Russian Forces may use chemical or biological weapons if their military operations fail. NATO forces should seize any intelligence or munitions with NBC markings and turn them over to EOD. The use of force has been authorized!
