Tactical Training Camp Checklist

Postby Thompson » Fri Aug 03, 2007 11:26 pm

This is not an event announcement! This is a checklist! Read it!

* Long-arm, with at least 2 standard cap magazines
- I suggest
1) A carbine or sub-gun platform (MP5, M4, ect).
2) A sling
3) A Tactical Illumination Device

* Sidearm, with at least 2 standard cap magazines
- I suggest
1) A holster that will securely hold the replica.
(Ask some of the teams what happened when they dropped a replica, or had one lifted on them.)

* Dump Pouch
* Helmet
* Elbow and Knee pads
* Hydration
* Eye Protection

THIS LIST IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS THE EVENT DATE APPROACHES. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THESE ITEMS. THIS IS AMPLE TIME TO START SQUARING YOUR KIT AWAY. YOU WILL BE AT A DISADVANTAGE FROM YOUR CLASSMATES OTHERWISE.
Admit to nothing, deny everything, demand proof, and make counter accusations.

Yeah, we just about had to push because one guy's safariland wasn't securing his M9 properly, and Matt continuously relieved me of my USP that was secured only by a kydex hip holster

I assume the "Long-arm" will need to chrono 330 or below? And eaxactly how far off is this event?

Si senor. It would also be nice if your sidearm chronoed 330 or less as well ;)

As for the when, while I am not the one running it, I am guessing sometime here in the fall, as CQC7 will be this winter, and this mini-cqc should be held before then

Hmmm

Postby Silentskill1987 » Wed Sep 12, 2007 10:03 pm

I've never done training before. So i'd like to join in. I pretty much have everything on the list exept an extra mag for my Crossman p50 C02. And the company doesnt sell extra mags for the model. Cant I just conserve my rounds and use each shot wisely? I really like this gun.

If your sidearm is CO2 powered, it may very well chrono over the limit. You'll want to check it first.

Also, I got my locking holster!!! I'm a happy one know. Mini CQC3, here I come.

I would honestly suggest getting a different weapon. According to the websites I checked, it will shoot approx 350fps... to hot.

And its transparent.

I can already see you doing push-ups.

You have time. The date should be released very soon.

Probably not, as long as you have the gear to satisfy the checklist, I don't think that your BDU camo would really matter.
