Although it is kind of late I thought I would give my 2 cents. Before I say anything my guys and I had a great time and feel like we got more than our monies worth.
The good...
-Zombies and makeup looked great, very impressive
-Strobes and smoke were a nice touch
-The original key-card game was very fun
-The newish building was fun since I only saw parts of it during CQC6
The bad...
-I think the blood spatter rule hurt the immersion for me, while I understand trying to create a realistic environment, this isn't CQC. I saw several times when a zombie died he would have to figure out how he got hit from where and then he would be calling people infected or other people would be calling it, and it just seemed to turn into a big mess since only the zombie can really tell where he was hit from. I think the overshoot is well suited for a CQC environment with designated graders but out of place in a more open ended game like this.
-The zombies running fast and just slapping people yelling infective was a bit trite. I was under the impression the steps would be 1. run up to 2. take a firm grasp 3. say infected, not just run down the hall giving "high fives".
-Would have liked to see a little more ammo either on zombies or hidden throughout the game, it was pretty difficult to get ammo if you ran out since it was only on zombies.
-Was a bit crowded, but it was said it would be in a bigger building next time, yay!
Thanks for a great event BSP, I'm already looking forward to next year!
