We thought we had heard the last of Grinchler, but alas, it was not so. The Summer was spent with both sides digging in and preparing for another winter offensive. This winter its a Stand Up Fight. Brigadier General Claus (Santa was promoted over the Summer) is planning what he calls Operation Cannonball Christmas II, hoping to put Adolph Grinchler on the defensive, before Grinchler can launch an all out offensive that will tie up Santa's logistics network for months?
Can they push back Grinchler and the Grinchistani Army? Or will Peppermint Pattons army be smashed against the well fortified Grinchistani defenses? Can Christmas be saved?
Date: 22 December, 10am
Admission Fee: Bring one (or more) new in box, unwrapped toy (s) to be donated to Toys for Tots
Staring: Knuckles as Brigadier General Claus

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Change in Venue.
Its still in the same general area, but at a different location. There is no address. If you must have mapquest, you're upsidedown. Follow the directions, and you can not get lost.
From Portland
Drive down Highway 26 WEST. My math says about 37 miles. 2 miles past the Timber Junction, you will see a sign that looks like THIS. Turn RIGHT at that sign. I swear, it is about 2 miles WEST of Timber Junction. You are now on a gravel/dirt road. You will follow this road about 2 miles. You will come up on a fork in the road, stay LEFT. This will wind up around the hill and at about the 2 mile mark, you'll run into the parking area.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uniform: Red 'Santa' style hat for Peppermint Patton's army and/or a red stripe of tape wrapped around both upper arms.
Yellow do-rag style hat for Adolph Grinchlers army and/or a yellow stripe of tape wrapped around both upper arms.
The Headgear and/or striping must be worn and visible from all angles while on the field.
IF YOU ARE NOT WEARING SOMETHING BRIGHTLY COLOURED ON YOUR HEAD (red for Peppermint Patton/Santa's army, yellow for Adolph Grinchler's army), ADMINS WILL ASSUME YOU ARE DEAD AND DIRECT YOU TO THE SPAWN POINTS.
This is supposed to be a light hearted, fun game to benefit under-privilidged children who otherwise are getting an air sandwich for Christmas. All normal NWAL rules will be in effect.
We'll have a Raffle for prizes (but really, The kids who benefit from this event are the real winners)
Raffle tickets are $5 each (for $50, I'll give you 12 tickets), CASH ONLY PLEASE (;) in small un-marked bills ). This is a great way to hook yourself up with a Christmas present, someone in your squad, or even your squad leader to thank him or her for their valiant service
At the end of the day, all of the tickets will be thrown into a hat, pickle jar, or similar object, and a neutral party will pull the winning ticket. You must be present to win.
