ABT CHARITY GAME

Postby terror management » Tue Jan 22, 2008 1:44 pm

ABT is holding its first charity event.
PRICE: 10 BUCKS AND AT LEAST TWO PIECES OF NON-PERISHABLE FOOD. ALL PROFITS GO TO THE LOCAL FOOD BANK IN VANCOUVER WA.
DATE: FEB 9
TIME: 10AM
LOCATION: 2011 NE. 373RD ST. LaCenter Wa.
LIMITED TO 48 PLAYERS
400 FPS LIMIT

WE ARE PUTTING ON TWO SECTOR CONTROL GAMES AT THE SAME TIME(DUE TO SOME PEOPLE NOT WANTING TO USE THE WHOLE FIELD AT ONCE, ITS TOO BIG THEY SAY, WHATEVER BUY A TREADMILL--KABAR COUGH COUGH). SO WE WILL HAVE FOUR TEAMS OF 12 OR SO EACH. AFTER EACH GAME HAS ENDED WE WILL SWAP POSITIONS AND COMBATANTS. THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE GAME DESIGNED TO GIVE A LITTLE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY AND TO FILL A VOID FROM US LOSING SCAPOOSE. ALSO WE NEED MORE TRIGGER TIME. THIS IS NOT A MINI OP ITS JUST PLAIN FUN AIRSOFT. ALL SAFETY RULES APPLY BUT THERE ARE NO CAMO RESTICTIONS...RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG
INDIVIDUALS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME BUT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME TEAMS(AND TEAMWORK) OUT THERE!!! ANY QUESTIONS PM ME OR JUST POST 'EM.

Come on out and help us battle hunger at the ABT Airsoft Battle Field. Help us help out others while were having a "blast" at the same time. It's time to get off your winter backsides and get out and play. Not unless, well you'd rather stay inside and not put any of your airsoft gear to good use. Shoot, get shot, or hide inside, you deside.

it's a tight field with some decent structures, good pathways, and natural defenses. fights can get harry if you don't properly coordinate your teams.

i think i'll go, and i'll try to get some of my guys with me

"Decent structures"? Are you bleeding kidding? The structures are PHENOMENAL!!! Hell, its got an entire house larger than a double-wide, a detached garage, and several outlying hog sheds and lean-to's, not to mention an entire vast network of clean and well-cut trails, several sandbag covered trenches, and even a few makeshift shacks and tin barricades. The ABT field is a stellar place if you are looking for a good mix of CQB and woodland training, where you can integrate the two combat styles to create very realistic training scenarios.

I *may* make it out depending upon other SOTA involvement and my work.

n00b mod here screwed up some relevant posts. Only way to get them back was to copy/paste them. Sorry.

Is the $10 per person also going to the foodbank? It is Profit, Right?
All proceeds also will go charity.

Summers here are some pics.
