(Reuters) - Several outlets are reporting the largest multi-billion dollar mining company in the world (New Horizon Mining) has reached a deal with The Republic of Yemen to purchase a very isolated and unpopulated island called Socotra, that is located 240 kilometers (150 mi) east of the Horn of Africa and 380 kilometers (240 mi) south of the Arabian Peninsula. Several top geologists around the world are unsure why a mining company would want to purchase the island.

(Reuters) - New Horizon Mining announces the hiring of Eclipse Defense Group to provide security on the island due to the high value of the premises. Eclipse Defense Group began providing security contracting since 1991. The company has provided teams for the U.S. military in major theaters, such as Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Bosnia, Columbia, Haiti, Iraq, Kosovo, Kuwait and Somalia. EDC is well equipped to handle this assignment with their highly trained staff and advanced firepower.

(Reuters) - Details have emerged from confidential documents obtained from a former key executive from New Horizon Mining stating company geologists confirmed high concentration of gold bearing ore. Experts agree that New Horizon Mining will be extracting gold on Socotra Island via open pit and hard rock mining.

(Reuters) - Unconfirmed sources state that New Horizon Mining have begun its mining operations and is showing a high level of production. Based on multiple studies, analysts suggest this land could produce 15-25 billion dollars worth of gold.

(Reuters) - Several reporting sources have stated several groups of militants carried by small boats have arrived on Socotra Island and have been invading and attacking the outer areas of the island. No specific organizations have claimed responsibility for the attacks. We are unsure of casualties at this time.
22nd, March 2013
(Reuters) – The Mehdi Militia terrorist organization are claiming responsibility for the attacks on the mining property owned by New Horizon Mining. Controls of the mining facility for financial gain are the basis for these attacks described by releases from the organization. New Horizon Mining is standing strong behind Eclipse Defense Group efforts for a quick resolution to this incident.
In a statement released from the Eclipse Defense Group press secretary "This is not an enemy that we have not seen before. What has happened here is an unsolicited act of violence on a peaceful settlement here. We will not falter, we will hunt you & we will destroy you"

Game Summary:
A mining company has purchased a remote, desolate island to privately mine for gold
A security firm was hired to oversee the protection of the island
Information leaked out about the what was being mined and subsequently they have been attacked by a terrorist organization seeking to gain control of the island to gain riches to fund their war on terror
To help achieve victory, both teams can utilize the two black marketers located around the island to purchase assets such as grenades, smoke grenades, mercenary team, portable re-spawn areas, super soldier, etc. Use of these assets will help progress through the game but are not mandatory to win it.
Objective based missions and control over areas throughout game will award teams with cash and point values.
Black marketers will barter their prices with the teams but they are not working together. Their goal is to make as much money off this conflict as they can. Careful to not barter too low, you may offend a black marketer and walk away empty handed.
There will be a currency system in the game for which the teams and black marketers will use.
Team with the highest amount of points win.
-Various amount of props and supplies will be in use for this event. This will be the bigger and better LOW event to date. Don’t miss out!!!!
