ROF rules will be in effect. All platforms must fire in semi auto only, except for LMGs. No burst fire except for SMGs.
The DEA has had its eyes on a cartel that goes by the name The Narco-State for some time now. The Narco-State is attempting to become THE major pipeline for all drug trade coming out of South America. Over the last several years they have amassed land and fortune as well as the favor and fear of both locals and officials alike. The bottom line, the Salazar family seems to have become untouchable. Run by Raffi Salazar, The Narco-State is attempting to seize new territory and expand its operations near the village of Pueblo De Paz. This new expansion which they have nicknamed “the Coca Road” is being overseen by Raffi’s cousin, Jorge Salazar. Seeing that “the Coca Road” could seal the deal for the Salazars, the DEA has called on the fire power of the US Special Forces to “intervene” in the situation.
This game will consist of sector control and will be mission heavy in this points driven game. The entire field will be used with less emphasis on gameplay in the village.
Each team will have an admin “Liaison”
Steve French is a DEA agent who will brief SF units on their newest missions and pass down relevant on the fly info to the SF commander.
Jorge Salazar is in charge of setting up their newest pipeline the Coca road, he will brief Narco units on their missions and pass down relevant on the fly info to the Narco commander.
Both men will be on the field and wander close to their respective command center. These NPCs will be part of the game, so be mindful of where they are located.
Sector counts will be done 4 times during the event. And teams will gain points based on the sectors they control at that time. We will let them know checks are being done throughout the day, but we will not announce these checks at the time to let teams “shore up” their territory.
At the beginning of the event each commander will be given 2 sector control options to capture and set up their FOB. The FOB is a sector control point with a pop-up canopy set back a ways that will act as a CCP. If a team loses their FOB, admins will move the canopy to their back up FOB, and then to their starting point. Teams will spawn at the FOB’s CCP. If no FOB is held, they must return to their starting point to respawn.
Medic rules will be used at this event and reviewed the day of to ensure all players are clear about the expectations.

SAFETY INFORMATION: PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS! THANKS A BUNCH!
Eye protection must be worn at all times on the field. At no time are they to be removed while in the play area. Should someone be observed with no eye protection on, BLIND MAN should be called and echoed by all players, and the game stopped until the person has eye pro, or is escorted off the field. Admins should be notified immediately if BLIND MAN is called and the location of the incident. Stay in place until GAME ON is called.
Face protection must be worn at all times for everyone on the field, even if you are not playing. Face protection must be hard, such as a paintball mask, mesh mask, etc.Players without proper face protection will be sent off the field until they have proper face protection.
Should a medical emergency occur on the field, game play should be stopped and admins contacted immediately. BLIND MAN is to be called out to stop play in this type of situation. A medical plan is in place with the admins, and admins will provide care/extraction from the field. Stay in place until GAME ON is called.
If police enter the field: all replicas MUST be placed on the ground and ALL players must be at least 20 feet away from them. Admins will address the situation.
A hit is considered a BB impact on you, or your gear (excluding your gun). When you are hit, call out HIT as loudly as you can. Yelling hit as loudly as you can helps prevent you from being shot more. When you are hit, pull out your red death rag and wave it, then place it on your head.
Dead men do not talk! If you’re dead, then head back to respawn. Telling your team where a player was that killed you is just as bad as not calling your hits.
Minimum engagement distance, or MED is based on your FPS. Distances less than that are recommended calling SAFETY KILL, or switching to low velocity sidearm. Intentionally shooting someone in the face/head from within your MED may be grounds for dismissal from the event without refund. MEDs are based on your FPS, NOT your weapon platform.
FPS
350<= point blank-FULL AUTO
351-400 = 10 feet-FULL AUTO
401 - 420 = 25 feet-FULL AUTO
421 - 475 = 50 feet-SEMI AUTO ONLY
476 - 550 = 75 feet-BOLT ACTION ONLY
If you are unsure of how far that is, there is a handy guide by the chrono station. Please note your FPS when you chrono, it is YOUR duty to remember, not the admins. The admins will tell you what your MED is. If you have a lot of guns, bring a piece of paper to write it down. You may be quizzed on your MED.
Safety Kills: NOT MANDATORY UNLESS THEY ARE WITHIN YOUR MED! However if the person has you dead to rights, they should be able to shoot you (and most likely will) if you try to challenge it. If you can shoot them first, it wasn’t a true safety kill. Remember that the end all be all is the impact of a BB on a person.
Trigger discipline. Basic gun safety rules apply to airsoft guns as well.
Ricochets do not count. You and your gear must be directly hit by a BB to count. Gun hits DO NOT count.
Grenades must expel BB’s to count as lethal. Only BB hits count as killing a player. Thunder B’s without BB’s inside just make noise. Noise doesn’t kill.
Only man-made cut outs may be shot through. There are very small gaps in some of the structures where you could shoot out of them. Shooting between these very narrow gaps IS NOT ALLOWED.
Blind firing is against the rules and may result in you being removed from the field. If you can not look down your sights to see your target, you are blind firing.
Any disagreement between players should be forwarded up to an admin for final ruling. This game is for fun. Fighting will result in expulsion from the event without a refund.
