It is with high regard to safety that extreme measures will be taken to ensure the safety of all participants that a rigorous protocol will be in place in the handling and distribution of blanks and blank firing adapters. All blank rounds will be handled by myself and command staff including loading of all magazines before the start of event and any resupplies needed during the event. A mandatory briefing will blank fire participants will take place before the start of the event. We will only allow a certain number of these positions. We want to create a unique experience to our players for this event, however at no time will the safety of any participant will be compromised. Don't let this asset stop you from participating. Blank fire will only be operated by game staff and command. We have decided to eleminate player participation of these at this event. Future events will include them.

The same attitude is also made with boats and vehicles. We have a specific ruleset in our player handbook regarding vehicles.
Boats: Operator must have a Oregon Boaters Safety card, we will ask to see it before the operation of this asset. We also will only allow the boat to carry enough players that they have life jackets for. A safety briefing will be conducted and life jackets inspected and noted / logged.

No exceptions to any of the requirements and rules set forth or the asset will not be allowed.

We take player safety very seriously before the "cool factor".

Yes we are. I only try to do one of these a year.


These games will not be long games like 24hours. Much easier schedule for the out of shape guys

Unfortunately we had to push back this event by a few weeks [new event date: 11.01.19 - 11.03.19] due to the following:

We didn't foresee that duck hunting season started on the same weekend as the event or even was held in the area and some of the areas we are playing in will be filled with shotgun toting duck hunters and it gets crazy busy. For the safety of everyone we couldn't let this event continue on the same date.

I am having treatment on a growth/lump on my neck in October that was recently found and not planned on and the treatment is pretty harsh on the body and immune system. It would be very difficult to be a good host for all of you. I'll be honest the last year has been tough on me physically and mentally. 3 bouts of cellulitis, a complete toe amputation, 50lbs of weight lost (not dieting), 4 hospitalizations and 2 foot ulcers and now the lump in my neck. I am healthy now despite the lump but my weakened immune system just caught one thing after another this past year however I pushed thru with some events still however this situation is a little more complicated.

RSVP's have been pretty slow for this event. Maybe everybody is burned out or airsoft funds dried up for the year. So pushing this back will allow us more time to gather players. We need about 75 to 80 players just to break even due to insurance and field lease costs.

I apologize for any inconvenience this causes any of you. I really struggled with this as I didn't want to change it however safety comes first, then health. If you can no longer attend due to the new date, please let us know. If you can now join us, RSVP at www.warsportnw.com/suddenstrike

The war sport site is now saying this is postponed to 2020. No update here on AP. What’s up? I’m surprised it would be cancelled before the early registration discount date had even arrived. I hope the organizer is doing alright.
