ive got a new field im thinking of holding a mini op at, but some things have raised a yellow flag in my mind for saftey. I was wondering if a mod could come to the oregon city area sometime this week and give it the ok or veto.

Since I'm not a mod, I can't really help you with a visitation, but if you have all of the issues of legality taken care of, I don't believe you need a mod's ok unless it's to be an North West Airsoft League game, though it never hurts. Perhaps all of us here at AP could help ease your mind with our combined experience in OP organization. First off, what are your concerns?
I don't mess with people who own guns, they have contingency plans.
You don't need a moderator, you need an event coordinator. So that means you can pretty much talk to myself, Seagreen, Angelo, Alex, Niall, Troy, John Warther, or anybody who's run legtimate games in the past.
While im aware that for a private game a mod or event coordinator would not be NEEDED, since saftey is a big concern I would feel better with someone with a more knowledgeable opinion on at what point a field crosses the saftey line. Before someone gives up their time, ill take pics tommorow and post them of the problematic aspects.

That's what Matt was trying to say. Basically any NWAL rep, or anyone who routinely runs games can help you. The AP mods are primarily just forum moderators for the Website. Troy, for example, has offered to drive by your field if you choose to contact him. He is an NWAL rep for EATF, and quite knowledgeable about safety issues.
