I live in florida, go figure,
miles and miles away from oregon,
but, do you know the legality of painting over the orange tip on the barrel of the gun?
cannot argue with that at all.
saftey is always a top priority when we play airsoft,
but sometimes ill take some spanish moss and wrap around the orange tip, to conceal the end of my firearm,
now that i have really thought about it, it really doesnt make a difference if its painted or not, by the time they are close enough to see the orange, they will have had 40 BB's in the chest.
Most orange tips are on flash hiders, so get a flash hider without an orange tip that you can change out with the other. It's pretty simple. If you are playing at structured airsoft events, not just messing around with your friends, then it's a good way to make your replica less visible. If you're just out in the woods with a few friends, leave the orange one on in case people come by or local law enforcement shows up.
